As the name implies, Swingmatism promises to hypnotise the audience with an eclectic repertoire ranging from swing classics from Duke Ellington/Billy Strayhorn/juan Tizol, Count basie/lester Young, Coleman Hawkins, Django Reinhardt (he’s French)
through standards, some West Coast contrapuntal offerings, a couple of Charlie Parker bebop gems, , some happy go lucky stuff with latin rhythms, even some schroder originals written as recently as a few weeks ago.
Sounds like heaps of fun!
